In some cases it may be necessary to
wash the car repeatedly. Let the car dry
in the shadow, avoiding to expose it
directly to the sun.
WARNING To prevent the formation of
spots, do not leave the shampoo over
the top for long and rinse immediately.
WARNING Do not use solvents, alcohol,
fuel or other detergents to clean the
top canvas and its window, in order
not to reduce its waterproofing
capacity and to prevent any aesthetic
and/or functional damages both to the
canvas and the rear window. Do not
open the top before it has completely
dried.
WARNING The top rear window must
be washed using cold water and
neutral shampoo only.
Should it be damaged, the rear
window can be replaced without
disassembling the top. For this
operation, please contact the Maserati
Service Network.
Interiors
Check at regular intervals that there is
no water trapped under the mats (due
to drips off shoes, umbrellas etc.)
which may cause the metal parts to
oxidize.
Cleaning the leather upholstery
– Remove the dried dirt with a slightly
damp deerskin or a cloth, without
rubbing too hard.
– Remove any liquid or grease stains
with a dry absorbent cloth, without
rubbing.
– Then run a soft cloth or deerskin
damped with water and neutral
detergent.
– If the stain persists, use specific
products carefully following the
instructions for use.
WARNING Never use alcohol, alcohol-
based products or solvents.
Leather upholstery treatment
Have the leather upholstery only
treated, as provided in the Scheduled
Maintenance plan, by the Maserati
Service Network which has the
required specific products.
